This is my first time lapse test using my Nikon D70. I captured this scene at 1 frame every 30 seconds. Assembled in Apple Motion 2, exported with QuickTime Pro.
NOTE - not entirely happy with the results of this test:
1) tree branches look quite jaggy - don't know why. This was captured at a higher resolution than 1280x720 and scaled using a square pixel aspect ratio (I may need to check this).
2) the scene itself - nothing great. again, quick & first test.
