What about 1/2000sec? In theory that should reduce the wobbling effect and definitely 60i.

EDIT: Although looking at your video there's no improvement going to faster shutter but might be worth to try.

I just figured out how this works.... The camera captures the lines at the same speed no matter what the "shutter speed" setting is on. The reason you get more percieved wobble at the highter shutter speed is because each line is more crisp. All the shutter speed setting does is change how much long EACH line is exposed. So you see less wobble at 1/50th of a second shutter speed because the individual lines are blurred from the high frequency vibration. What i want to know is this: how long does it take exactly to capture all the lines in a given frame in 24P mode? (because remember, it does not ever change!)

I think that No is rolling shutter, is the optical stabilisation sistem. I fly in paragliders with the camara and with only the speed wind cause vibration, for sport , high movements, etc, the hv30 no is a good camara, I tnink.
