Pangaea Global AIDS Foundation, in partnership with San Francisco AIDS Foundation and aids2031 produced a short documentary film on the past and future of the AIDS epidemic in San Francisco. The 11 minute film documents San Francisco’s response to the epidemic past and present, illustrating how it was that the young leaders of the 1980s and 1990s collaborated to develop what became known as “The San Francisco Model of Care” and how that tradition of innovative young leadership in battling the disease both at home and globally continues today.
