A 12 minute synopsis of an intense 7 day road trip through Colorado and New Mexico. 2200 miles, 3 mountain passess, 1 dirt road mountain pass, 1 30 mile dirt/sand road recovering from an overnight flood, 1 art festival, lots of food, lots of free entertainment from the Dude of all Dudes: Keaton, 3 relaxing days/nights in Santa Fe to top it off! OH - shot in High Def though, sadly, compressed for the internetzzzzzz.

I watched the full 12! Fave parts-The rushing white water, the zoom out shot of the arch ways and silly as it sounds, the map sequences...Oh yah, Keaton.

Just finished watching the whole thing. What a wonderful trip man. And you captured and edited it perfectly. Thanks so much for sharing that.

THANKS! I used the Sony HVR-V1U. Though I didn't use it on this trip, I normally outfit it w/ the HVR-DR60 hard disk recorder. Rich colors w/ the CMOS sensors!

Loved it. Loved the shots. Loved the editing. Loved the juxtaposition of beating on a chair and the drummer. Loved the titles. Loved the trombone zooms. Loved the music. Loved the effects. Loved the colors. Loved Keaton, but how could you not.

One critique. The fade through white got tough on the big screen after a while. Thought I might go blind [grin]. If you decide to tweak on it later you might want to try some other transitions. You're creative. C'mon do it, then let us know. We'll come back.

The Arkansas River doesn't look like that when it gets to us here in Arkansas. Nice views of a beautiful area. I've skied Crested Butte, Keystone, Vail, Santa Fe and Taos, but alas . . . age and infirmity keep me home most of the time now. Thanks for the reminder of just how beautiful it is to tour the Rockies.
