Travis's PRK, Right Eye
***Note: this video isn't for the squeamish***
This is the Dr's view of my right eye (I'm upside down). This is part 1 of 3 but the other 2 parts are the sequence of laser tests between the procedures and then the left eye, which follows the same exact procedure as the right one. All-in-all it's a little over 18 minutes total.
The surgery is PRK (similar to LASIK or LASEK). It was performed by Dr. Scott M. MacRae, M.D. at Strong Vision, in Rochester, NY.
There was no sound on the DVD they gave me so I added NIN 2 Ghosts I and 32 Ghosts IV, since they fit the length pretty well.
I wrote up a fairly detailed description of the procedure and my experience at my blog: travis.servebeer.com/blog.net/archive/2008/03/30/prk_eye_surgery_follow_up.aspx
