An abstract music video I made by animating particle generators for each musical part.

The music is Coalescence and Luxation, which was created on an analog modular synth one monophonic line at a time. You can download the music and find out more information at: stretta.blogspot.com/2008/03/coalescence-and-luxation.html

awesome way to visualize the waves that are music. music impacts all things around it, sound frequency vibrations... if only we knew both the healing and destructive qualities.

    Thanks for posting!

really nice video there - I had sent you a comment as 'copepod' (my ambient personae) but it didn't go through properly on your site. I like the 'simplicity' of your concept - and the audio track is very nice as well.

Andrew's tutorials turned me on to Particular, but once I started using it, I could see the potential of using it with audio - especially when one has access to the individual tracks to extract keyframe data.

Trapcode Particular + After Effects Expressions? ^^
I'm currently addicted to them too, play with the octave multiplier and you will achieve more abstract results :D
