This is a very casual walkthrough through the design of Avalonstar version 25, Distortion. Instead of doing a blog post, I thought it would be easier on me and a little more entertaining if I created a mediacast.
It takes you through the different versions and design decisions I made throughout the process, but I'm sure I forgot something (even though it is 30 minutes long).
This is the first of hopefully many mediacasts that'll balance the type of content you see on Avalonstar, not only keeping me motivated but keeping you interested!

Keep up the videos plz!
I initially thought it was going to be a "how I did this in PS" video, but I really liked the guided tour approach. Lots of "sidebars" about your "creative" process. I apologize :) It surprised me that you haven't written any AJAX scripts before (I haven't either). I suppose even the accomplished have a learning list.
I really hope you (and others) do more videos like this.
I have to agree. I have worked on websites before but I hit a brick wall half way when I tell myself "Is this even possible to code and go live?"
Reason why I would love a walkthrough or insight on how you did it is because I have had some similar layouts for my wips. My main goal was to break away from wordpress and make my own system, like you have.
