Scott Slone of Alaska HDTV (previously Alaska Podshow,) Alaska's leader in cutting-edge video podcasting, recently told Gov. Sarah Palin to "take a hike" around Juneau during a visit to Alaska's Capital City.

"We love Juneau and wanted to share the city with our viewers," said Slone, who produces a regular series of video podcasts on Alaska. "Even though it was misty winter weather, we invited Gov. Palin to take a hike with us," said Slone. "We even brought her a White Chocolate Mocha from Heritage Coffee as an incentive to show us around town," he said.

Gov. Palin took the opportunity to encourage young people to visit Juneau and get involved in state government. "Come learn about your state's history from your brothers and sisters in Southeast Alaska," she said.
