Seriously though, it depends on whatever I seem curious enough to ply and bend into something worthwhile. For example, Crystal Light vimeo.com/94988 quite obviously uses fireworks as an image source to work off. You practically change or even exaggerate the context of the image. Often the material I use is not what you would expect to use. An extreme example is like "and the siege continued..." vimeo.com/106830 where it is a camera filming upwards upon a building with snow coming down. Looked like warfare from a certain point of view.

Frequently I set out to create something but abandon it at some point only to pick up and go off on a tangent sometime later. Like most things, the conception and the final birth rarely correlate. This piece however seemed to come around real quick. I finished the digital horror show Tin There vimeo.com/839639 and was looking to slow things real down. Made the entire thing within an hour in pretty organic way with few revisions. I'm actually quite astonished how taken it seems to have been by the vimeo crowd all things considering.
