This is the intro animation I created for the 2007 Indy Racing League end-of-season awards banquet. The event producers wanted the video elements to have a sexy, energetic club feel.
The entire club crowd was created with only three shots of six people that were duplicated many times. The club environment, lights, and camera move were created in Maya while the crowd, dancer, flashes, and colors were composited in After Effects. The stylized night skyline at the beginning was created in After Effects.
