    Uh-oh ... the audio really suffered in the M4V-to-Flash conversion ... if you want to hear this the way I recorded it, you'd better download the M4V original (it looks better, too).

    Could you not improve the aesthetic by de-digitizing the display of each note segment, say possibly having active ones fade in and out with attack and decay? Or somehow have the movement from one block to another flow or splash and crash like water might? Its nice to be able to visualise the music like that anyway.

    I agree; all those things would be good to experiment with; I have done some of that (see my web site, musanim dot com), and would like to do more.

    I Googled "Stanley Krebs"
    and your video on vimeo tops the list!

    I downloaded the original;
    but Windows didn't recognize the extension,
    and showed me several minutes of noise and flashing
    that was nothing like your vid!

    maybe is cause you don't have QuickTime or iTunes, wich reproduce almost exclusively this format

    Did you know Stanley?

    If the file is about 18 MB and called video-236432.m4v, you've got the right thing, and you possibly need to get the latest version of QuickTime. Or maybe kick your computer. Let me know if either works.

    the video appeared in my "Subscription" box,
    so I thought it was new...
