The trip to the Genius Bar this morning was a success. Keys "P" and "L" are once again comfortably nestled in their home - my keyboard.

    Thank you Jean-Peirre!

I tend to over pronounce everything. My friends and family often make fun of me for that.

Nice dolly move (slider over table) how did you do that?
  • Eric E. Anderson 2 years ago
A trick I learned from another Vimeo user... sliding the camera on a checkbook. Simple, eh?
  • Eric E. Anderson 2 years ago
Michael Simmons was the inspiration for using the checkbook: vimeo.com/459354

LOL.. that is too simple.. though thinking about it, this is clearly another film-maker trick about to become history as most people soon use online pay and atm cards. ;-)
  • Eric E. Anderson 2 years ago
Ha! No doubt. I had to dig in a junk drawer to find one!

Has your mighty mouse ever squeaked when pressing it down? Mine did for awhile. Brought a whole new meaning to the name 'mouse'
  • Eric E. Anderson 2 years ago
Ha! Funny. Mine has yet to squeak... but you never know.

Ahhh, the Mighty Mouse - not to be confused with the flying rodent wearing a red cape. A couple of months back I was editing audio in Pro Tools on a Mac Pro with a Mighty Mouse. During that whole 3 weeks I could not get a feel for that mouse. The ball just seemed way too small for what I was using it for. The whole experience inspired me to buy a Logitech side scroll wheel laser mouse which is quite ergonomically designed and nice to use.

Anyway, enjoyed the clip and the checkbook dolly move. Good luck with the keys!

Thanks Avene - I actually love the size and function of the ball... it's just too hard to clean. Very frustrating. I have one of those Logitech's in the house - bought it for my son - very good mouse indeed.

The Genius Bar hooked me up and fixed the keys no charge. Yay!

Some days I am drawn to believe there is nothing mighty about mighty mouse. Even when I clean it doesn't want to scroll down properly. This vid made me laugh out loud. :)
  • Eric E. Anderson 2 years ago
I know, right? Darn mighty mouse. I do love the way it looks sitting on the desk. That's what is most important *sarcasm*.

Glad you got a laugh :) I had recorded so much footage that day, I made another: vimeo.com/894647

hi Eric - is this shot with the HDC-SD1?
    - the quality looks great - did you edit it with IM?
  • Eric E. Anderson 9 months ago
    Yep - SD1 and iMovie 08
  •
  • Daniel Dides 9 months ago
You always manage to get such great quality and DOF from your shots. How do you do it?
  • Eric E. Anderson 9 months ago
With my Panasonic HDC-SD1 - love that camera.
  • Daniel Dides 9 months ago
Haha, it does the DOF on it's own? That's pretty sweet. Would you recommend it to someone looking to get a small HD camcorder?
  • Eric E. Anderson 9 months ago
Absolutely yes! If you can find one... Great form factor, great features, great camera.
