Stuck In South Dakota
So this past weekend I was out shooting a documentary in South Dakota. Everything went smoothly the first day, we hit the road EARLY in the morning and got to our destination early, a small Indian reservation MILES from any major road. Unfortunately we were given the worlds smallest office space to shoot interviews in but that wasn't the worst of our troubles this weekend. As we wrapped the first day we headed back to our small hotel to crash for the evening. We went to bed expecting to wake up to the same vast, barren wasteland that we left the night before. Upon waking up we soon came to realize that this wasn't the case. It had in fact snowed about 2 feet and was continuing to come down just as hard with complete white out conditions. After waiting out the storm for a few hours in the morning we decided that we couldn't take it any longer and chose to hit the road. Luckily we had plenty of cameras to document our journey home. I put together a quick edit tonight so please take the time to take a look. Hope you enjoy it!
For those of you who have lost their attention span due to youtube and other internet videos and cannot make it through a 4 minute web video I strongly encourage you to watch it to the end. There is a really cool time-lapse that is worth the wait if you watch the whole thing... with sound.

Matt Crest 3 months agoThe time lapse is great. It's like a childhood memory of sitting in the back of one of those station wagons with the rear facing back seats.
