I bought the adapter from him. Super nice guy and great to deal with.
The adapter is originally set up for the canon HV20 or HV30 but since my camera also has a 43mm filter thread, I thought I'd give the adapter a try.

wonderful composition man. i wonder using the adapter. is the image reversed on your viewfinder when filming. i plan to get twoneils 35mm a.

    good job on this!

thanks! yepp, the image is normally flipped both horizontally and vertically. I changed some setting in the camera so it flips the image horizontally and I used the "magnet trick" to flip my lcd image vertically.

where did you get the lens from?

and what camera did you used?
  • Kyle Hou 2 days ago
I ordered the lens along with my adapter from Neil but I dont think he will do that anymore as it is alot of hassle for him. It's just a 50mm f1.8 nikon prime that you can find all over the place like ebay and such.

    camera i used is a panasonic dvc30

This looks great man. I'm highly considering buying his 35mm adapater also. You might have sealed the deal.

haha thanks! the adapter works wonders when you're on the go. it takes me less than a minute to set up with it. it's light so you dont have to worry too much about it straining on your camera's threads, unless you have a heavy lens on it. dust is a constant problem and so i would really recommend attaching a UV filter to the back of the adapter to somewhat seal it from dust particles.
