Hello team,

I had a game plan in mind going into this game and I completely got away from it. I had planned on rotating my lines a lot more frequently and it just didn't happen. The boys did not play their best today. I am not sure if they were still asleep, overconfident or something else. I guess I should just be happy with a win and move on, but we sure have some things to work on this week.

The lazy play combined with the refs deciding to "even the game out" made for a frustrating game. Right before the game they told me that they were going to make sure the more skilled players held to the rules. Now I know what they meant. That was code for we are calling all penalties on Bret Harte and warning Santa Cruz.

We have the Chiefs again next week and I am sure they will be playing hard, so hopefully we can turn it around.
