Recently I have just finished a short film I shot in Feb 2008. It was a self funded low budget film using crew in the same position as me (trying to gain experience and contacts etc). We shot it HD over two days.

Also I would love some feedback on the final production.
Any questions etc would be awesome.

Criticisms welcome!

I am taking the short to a number of festivals including Cannes (in a Van).

Absolutely loved it. The camera movement in the first half, the lighting in the second and the acting! All fantastic.

I also liked that her rhythmic screaming at the end mirrored that of the phone tones/breathing.

Cinematography was fantastic as was the lighting: akin to Dario Argento. Very enjoyable short. Good luck with the festivals.

Wow, better production values here than in most movies. Good job, very scary and intense. Great beginning because it really grabs you. One thing that would have been cool is if there was a 2nd person filming this. Kinda like Cloverfield.. :) but still better than the movie "Signs"! And this was about 5 minutes long! Great job!

Beginning was awesome, middle okay, then end lost me. And it was gross all the way through....love the whip pans, I think that it was just too gross for me personally. I looked away.

Zombiform encephalitis... the same thing happened to me once. The nausea sucks, but the fingernails are nice.
