Nice stuff! I think the written "Wellington City" was overdone though. Once would have been plenty :)

Andrew, Loved it. I have the same camera but still need some training. I am also impressed with the capabilities. BTW if you had put your stocking cap over the mic during the last bit you would have gotten rid of a lot of the wind noise. In fact I have shed my socks and put them on the mic to help. There are more expensive ways to do it but Cheap is good also. Cheers

Haha - cheers. I should have used a sock - definitely! I only decided while I was sitting, taking the timelapse, that I should tell viewers what my motives were for making this video, and hadn't thought about any sound issues... although... I could have just used my own socks I was wearing there and then! :P

Very nice composition and time lapse. Night scenes looked very grainy/noisy. What gain db were you at? Iris?

Nice job... I stumbled upon your videos while looking up the canon xh a1. I'm thinking about getting one, but I need to save up lots of $$$$$.

Hello - Andrew. My name is Brian Boyko - I went down to New Zealand to film a documentary on your electoral system (I'm an American) and while we got tons of great interviews we really didn't have time to get a whole lot of great scene footage.

Do you still have the raw footage for this music video? Some of these shots are just absolutely perfect and I'd like to use them in my documentary if possible. I can be reached at brian.boyko@gmail.com

Additionally, I'm not going to be able to afford a second trip to New Zealand but I'm going to need to hire someone local to cover the fall '08 elections for the documentary and from what I've seen you've got the chops for it.

Please contact me - I would love to have a cameraman (and editor, possibly) like you working on this project!

    -- Brian.

P.S.: You have absolutely given me 100% reason to upgrade to the Canon XH A1 with this video.

    Hey man great work!

How do you sue the scrub tool in your editing? You are using final cut studio I'm assuming.

Hey mate, sorry for the late reply.
This was edited in Adobe's CS2 suite.
