Oh man they are so awesome. 16mm and 35mm is very much alive in my life, moreso than digital these days.

I'm working on my final (just got done shooting actually for the day)...have a shoot tomorrow. Then in a couple weeks I'll edit on the flatbed and it will be up.

Gotta love that 16mm.

Unfortunately its' in black and white as well. Colour 16mm this summer :-)

I just finished my cinematography final and I also shot that on 16mm..Reversal film. I will upload that soon.

Oh man... I went to Film Post today and 3 people had blank film....I think they may have left the variable shutter down too. They need some sort of alarm for that stupid lever.

I was thinking about going for Plus-X negative actually. I mean some speak of reversal, other speak of negative. It's enough already! So I just put a finger down on the Kodak pricelist and there you go, Plus-X black and white negative.

I just joke, i have a good sense of humor.

hahaa...The main thing...is that you get better tones of contrast with reversal film, albeit harder to shoot because the window of error is smaller than negative film.

But when projected, you can tell the difference, reversal looks more beautiful (in my opinion).

But either way, it should be fine.

It's your own preference. I like the quality of images I get out of reversal more...it's better if you test both and just use what you like better :-)

Damn you! Now I want to shoot reversal, I'm more impressionable than a Scientologist drunk on tequilas.

Well, I guess I'll try to score some free film from Kodak, they are usally very nice to me. Last time they sent me 15 Super8 films for free! And then I'll do some test on reversal and negative.

They say that reversal is usally more crisp.
