The blender fell off the counter & the glass part broke. But rather than let it die a peaceful death, we decided to subject it to a host of indignities, including: fruit, dish soap, day-old coffee, the last bit of a fifth of whisky, hand soap, ketchup, milk, and replica swords. And after all that, it still hadn't quite given up! At last, it had earned itself a proper burial.
