Electromagnetic relays are wired to each other to produce a cybernetic feedback system, each relay being influenced by its predecessor. The relays are attached to vertical pendulums with small mirrors at different heights acting as weights to introduce instability in the system, the lights flickering in the base indicating the opening and closing of the relays.
