A look around Brooklands with Miss Milly Tant
2 years ago
Welcome to this short clip staring Miss Milly Tant the famous resident of Brooklands Museum. Milly started life in 1954 with the military, was acquired by London Transport (where the crane was added) and then she finally joined The National Rescue Group in 1983.
After a long and interesting career I decided to retire her and Brooklands Museum was selected, as she spent most of her time there anyway.
There is a website to help people find out more about this unique Recovery Vehicle and we are interested in hearing from people, that knew her during her working life. millytant.com
