It has rained here for the last week and a half. Non-stop. The roads are flooded, my yard is under water, and the kids, who are in the second week of their school holidays are climbing the walls. And I am desperate to shoot something. Anything. And I look out my window and think, "Why not?" So I get my EX1, open the side door and start shooting. This is the result.

It's kinda short, but at least it gave me something to do for the afternoon!

Shot 1280x720p at 60 fps, cut in FCP and graded in Color with a bit of Guassian Blur added for effect. Music from Apple's Garageband.

I had a similar experience. Rainy day, camera in hand and some nice video results. Thanks for sharing with us. I especially like the closeups as they give a perspective on things that we do not ordinarily take the time to see.

Really well graded, the colors feel so rich and natural.

The colors and choice of music make it feel so tranquil.

I like rain, I find it relaxing :)
