I like birds.
However, I take issue with birdsong THIS early in the morning! I find it impossible to sleep to the sound of singing birds. Even though it isn't the loudest noise, it's the sort of sound you want to hear in the morning when you are clearing the sleep from your eyes and taking that big yawny stretch, NOT when you are trying to sleep. I normally hear them if I'm up really late, but this is just after midnight! birds should not be going about their business at this hour. Birds, please stop this madness.
