Domino Needs a Home
(EDIT - June 2008) - Domino had knee surgery in May to fix a torn cruciate and is recovering nicely. She has been adopted and is now living in her new home. Thanks to everyone who showed an interest in Domino!
-------
Domino is a very friendly 2-3 year old Staffordshire Terrier. We got Domino in foster care along with her 5 puppies in mid January ( vimeo.com/album/5977 ). After raising her own litter, Domino helped us with an orphaned pup and another single puppy. She was an excellent mother and makes a wonderful companion.
Domino is spayed, housebroken, heartworm negative, and is up to date on all vaccinations (including rabies). She is very good with people and other dogs.
Unfortunately, Domino does not do well in a shelter environment, so after three weeks at the shelter we have her back in foster care. We're now actively looking to place her in a permanent home. She's a medical special-needs adoption.
She is available through the Champaign County Humane Society in Urbana, Illinois ( cuhumane.org ) as a special adoption. For more information contact shelter.manager@cuhumane.org or call 217/344-7297 and speak with the Shelter Manager.
