Shot on the PMW-EX1 - Some rough footage put together in FCP to see what I could do with the EX1 on the road -- Sadly, no steadi or jib, just a tripod. Still some rough spots in the editing, e.g the 2nd dissolve into the 3rd shot - anyway...close enough for rock and roll, right?

Some shots use the Century Precision Optics Wide angle Converter lens (notice the barrel distortion on the upper left of frame on fully zoomed out shots).

All but the slomos were shot at 1080p/24 Frames

-- Mostly grads and external NDs,

-- NO color grading yet (update: SOME CC in 3-way FCP)

This is a sunrise in SOUTH CAROLINA at the MIDDLETON PLACE PLANTATION AND GARDENS

This footage was encoded as H264 using Compressor - I notice stuttering in the mist, in the dissolves, and in some of the pans - not there in the hi-res stuff.

Sound is on-camera mic; the music is originally commissioned soundtrack and not available to the public.

I uploaded an H264 at native aspect of 1920x1080 - let's see if this shows up in the "HD" section...

I dig that RogerB1 - glad you like the video - truthfully, its far from finished and not really in a state for downloading. Its the opening bit for a much longer show...in any case, when this sequence is actually finished I will upload again at better quality, if I can figure out how to replace the video without losing the url reference.
