6. Lexington 1775

A company of the British Army went marching through Lexington at the dawn hours of April 19, 1775. They were met by a group of Lexington Militiamen who were assembled in the town common. Into this tense atmosphere a shot was fired. Fighting errupted and the American Revolutionary War commenced.

2 years ago Thanks for the comments, guys. Three of us went to this event. At pre-dawn the place was already packed. We had one DIY monopod made of a torchier lamp post, but even that was no competition with people perching on ladders. If you notice closely at the above frame grab, top center at 12 o'clock, that is one of or hv20s on top of the 7' monopod. -
