Charley you are always exploring and testing the HD Medium with grace and class. So tell us what kind of macro lens you used. Also the music works really well with the composition. Bravo..
  • Charlie McCarthy plus 2 years ago
Thank you, it was just done in maunal focus. The only lens I have is a fisheye that I used here vimeo.com/839384

Great stuff! I can only imagine what your neighbours must think..... "Oh look, there's our neighbour video taping his fence upside down again" ... or perhaps "look at that funny looking whipper snipper our neighbour is cutting his grass with again... it doesn't seem to be working though.." :)

Thanks, they really get confused when I walk around shooting through a shoebox.

That was one beautiful minute (and 7 seconds)!

I love how you have captured the beauty that is all around us. Traveling to a majestic mountain is not a necessity for revealing the joy of life.

wait a minute, you didn't use a macro? it sure does look like macro footage to me, and it has 'macro' in the title, too
  • Charlie McCarthy plus 2 years ago
For this one i did'nt use an adapter I did it in manual focus. If you do use a macro lens it looks better if you move slower.

damn... this was interesting.... and much easier than my effort:

I was experimenting with a 'cat's eye view' just recently. Camera was about 12" off the ground. However my cat is a primadona and didn't feel like working that day.
I was gonna follow my cat around.

I think my knees hurts now :)
Don;t feel bad, my neighbors think am crazy too... sliding around on my knees.... following a cat.
Why is it that the cat always shows his butt to the lens?
    I get no respect --
