Nice job Sir Jon Rawlinson. The attention to detail is apparent in this piece. The editing was great with the
perfect blend of music and visual. One mans journey
taken one step at a time. And the depth of field was amazing. So what is the secret to shooting there? We all want to know. But surely a piece to be proud of ..thanks

  • Jon Rawlinson 3 months ago
Unfortunately no techniques...I got sand all over the place. I didnt use any protection, kinda stupid but I really wanted to shoot in the dunes.

    Great work Jon,
was the vignetting done in Camera?
    Which Mini 35 and lenses?

  • Jon Rawlinson 3 months ago
Vignetting was done with Magic Bullet Looks. Only used a Sony HVRV1U camera.

Great stuff. The color theme and vignetting fits perfectly. I've also always wanted to shoot in the dunes, hope to do that one day.

The music makes it... almost... haunting. So good! The final shot is excellent. Color grading adds a dramatic aspect. Did I mention the music? =D
