A few months ago while holding onto a pair of borrowed ski goggles, I got the idea to line them with electroluminescent wire and have it sync'd to to Ableton Live in anticipation of an upcoming DJ performance. This is the first video I've done of the prototype.

MaxMSP was used in conjunction with Live's ReWire capabilities. I built 6 pulse width modulation circuits that are linked to each of an Arduino's 6 PWM outputs. MaxMSP communicates with the Arduino using the firmata system.

Special thanks to the developers of Firmata and Marius for porting the Pduino object to Max.

This is an early incarnation of...everything and there is much more I want to work on before releasing the patch and details.
