W.E.E.P. (Women's Educational Empowerment Project) for Southern Sudan is a non-profit organization dedicated to the betterment of sudan through the education of young women. In January of 2008, a small group of us took a trip to Kakuma, Kenya, the site of one of many refugee camps around Eastern Africa. Here we interviewed young women to place them in boarding schools around Kenya. This footage was shot and editted to be used as a promotional tool for the organization. A great experience and a lot of fun to put together.
