    Hi Tom:

    Great shots, thanks for posting.

The HV20 can't over crank so the highest frame rate you can record is 60 (59.94), or the 1080i60 setting.
Not sure what post apps you're using, but if you're using Final Cut Studio 2 I recommend trying Motion Blending under the timing twirly in Motion3. This mode will help blend the choppy frames and smooth things out a bit when you slo-mo your footage.

Man, watching this makes me realize I need to get back out to the driving range. Thanks again for posting!

this might be a stupid question, but how do i set my camera to the 1080i60 setting?

hi, i think for the best slowmo result with the hv20/30 you can use after effects + pixel motion option, it does not only blend the frame together, it creates a new frame by calculating the pixels from the before and after frame.

    Please De-interlace the video!
That's why you're getting those "ghost" frames, and choppy footage.

i'm pretty positive i did de-interlace when i exported it. i'm trying to figure out settings for my camera to capture the best footage to slow down. it's still choppy before i export, so i think the source of the problem is how i'm actually filming it. any ideas/suggestions?
