'EMPIRE' is my submission for the Nine Inch Nails Ghosts Film Festival. It features the NIN tracks '2 Ghosts I', '8 Ghosts I' and '36 Ghosts IV' which are all Creative Commons licensed. The license allows for non-commercial derivatives.

While listening to '8 Ghosts I' it quickly became apparent to me that the song was violent in nature... angry. I immediately began to visualize it as war, the US... it's global war-mongering... it's "Empire" building. Trent Reznor then announced the "Film Festival", calling for fans to translate the music visually to video. Perfect! I then knew that I had to create a video for this track... so here it is. I only hope that I did the music justice.
