Music is Stone Inc with Some kind of Soul.
Preset used: Wolfgang's +0db with a little extra saturation.

Have you worked with Nikon lenses? Have you noticed a difference between Nikon and Canon lenses at all?
  • Kjewbee 4 months ago
I only have a canon EF and FD mount so I cannot compare - What I can say is that the quality of the lens will reflect in the quality of the video!
The sharpness of my EF 24-70 f2.8 L (expencive lens) is a lot better then the sharpness of the FD 35-105 f3.5.

was this shot at the standard 60i rate or one of the frame modes? This footage looks amazing by the way, i love the colors.

I love the DOF on that, but are there ways to shoot something that has a wider range of focus as well?
  • Kjewbee 4 months ago
    Thanks!
This was shot progressive on a European camera version, so 25p.
For DOF: For this test I tried to get max DOF out of my lenses. It is possible to have a wider range of focus as wel when I should zoom out or make iris smaller (but then I loose light).
For an even wider range of focus I would not use the adapter at all as it is always a little qualityloss.

Nice video. Is there a way to change iris value on EOS lens?
  • Kjewbee 4 days ago
YES there is if you have a still eos body. Just put it on manual, set your iris, press the iris preview button near your lens fitting and while holding it, disconnect your lens. The lens is now set to other iris. Its a pain but it works.
