Imagine a city based on bicycle transportation instead of cars.

Less big box stores. Quiet! Less pollution. More human interaction en-route. Less road rage and death. More bikes means less obesity and less money spent on related medical illnesses. Less support for the Oil industry, and one giant step toward a more sustainable future for our children and all life on earth.

More green space. More people living close to work (what a novel idea). More bike culture, less car culture. More riding in the rain, and more people prepared to venture outside. You could go on for a while listing the pros and cons. There is already many cities around the world where bicycles are the primary method of human transportation. Unfortunately the vast majority of the people riding these bikes are also living in poverty.

Just imagine a city without roads or a Canadian city with more bicycles on the roads than cars. Radical? Yes. Required? Inevitably.

It's time to make the shift.
