Hi Fred your camera looks great nice shots. I have been using camera steadying effect in FCP it's great for Xacti camera's. Also, a good tripod on my last post. We have many Xacti project coming down the pike. MM

Hi Michael. It is nice to hear from you. I just this week got my hands on a Manfrotto 701RC2 fluid head. Now I have to get a 3/8" to 1/4" adapter to hook it up to some lightweight Linhof legs that I've had thereabouts for thirty years. However, I don't know if that is going to be the solution anyway. I am going to go with the Manfrotto Mondosteady sooner or later it seems but it sure would be nice if somebody would come forward and say they got the thing to balance. There are enough HD1000 / HD700 users out there who have a Mondosteady. na_du->da has it. (I apologize for my co-moderator. I asked na_du->da to list you as a contact but he wouldn't. He would not do it. He changes his name more often than he changes his socks. Maybe you can talk some sense into him. I tried. Really I did.) He is having trouble. Kingofpunk has the Hague Mini Motion-Cam. He is complaining also. He hasn't got it to balance. Not him either. Mos has used the Mondosteady's shoulder brace function to shoot the inside of a church with what can only be called limited success at best. Mos seems to have gotten the Mondosteady's counterbalancing stabilizer angle to work. I don't know. It sure automatically doesn't work wonders. Say hello to Sir Paul McCartney for me if you see him while in Brighton. And if anybody is likely to bump into Mr. Paul McCartney (Can I address him that way?) I know you are the guy who just might. Although I haven't heard his latest releases for reasons I won't go into, I really dug listening to his Run Devil Run, Flaming Pie, and last but not least his Driving Rain, that is I really dug listening to his stuff when I wasn't getting my mind totally blown away listening to Laurence Juber's stuff. Tell Paul I wish him well. I'm a big fan. All my friends know it.
