Crystal ball manipulation, or 'contact juggling' as it is wider known.
It's a pretty heavy ball made of solid acrylic, and I'm essentially 'just rolling it around' for want of a better term.
It is also seen in the film Labyrinth starring David Bowie, but it was actually done by an incredible performer called Michael Moschen who sat awkwardly around/under/behind Bowie while he pretended.
I didn't go mad in post simply because it's just me playing around in a rather messy room. I'm going to get some decent studio footage of this to use for promo purposes, and then I'll go mad. Probably literally mad, too...
Canon HV20E, 25p & cinemode, as will be a fair bit of my forthcoming footage!
