This is my first test with Hyper engine AV a free-ware mac editor.....using footage I shot whilst travelling on the bus...I found it to be quicker, more intuitive and ultimately a more creative tool than Imovie...its not perfect, but I can now at least superimpose video shots over each other, which can be seen in random bits of passing vehicle editing i played with. The audio is layered up over and over again, which again was easy and quick to do. I like it and will test it out further..... any other users?

A young girl has a whole day of activities planned for her only day off, but then finds out she has to work. April 25, 2008 was the day of the visit from two artists to the show I host each Friday on communtiy radio here in Portland, Maine the second was a great singer songwriter hailing from the "other Portland" Oregon that is. Here Casey tried out a new tune called Ouroboros which is an ancient symbol depicting a serpent or dragon swallowing its own tail and forming a circular shape. I guess in line with one beginning where one ended or the dog biting his own tail. I had been familiar with his work, having included it in my programming over the years, I really like the quality of his voice, the ease of his delivery and loved the title track of his latest release "Brooklyn Bridge". He can rock out too. He says the Portland, Oregon scene is fertile and has an abundance of great players, definitely a place to catch him once in while with the band since he is now based there. Definitely an artist to know and watch.
