This is the first short film I've been more involved with than as a mere boom operator. That is to say, I wrote it, directed it, starred in it, edited it, and uploaded it. Which is why it's so shoddy.

There are still a few things to like about it, though. Shot on a Canon HV20 with an f/1.4 50mm prime lens mounted on a lens converter.

In Or Otherwise Out is a simple film about a guy who isn't fully aware of what's happened to him.

This clip was presented for the "Urban Festival" November 9th, in Reunion island.

Franklin, a clumsy deckhand on the pirate ship "Dimensional", receives an unexpected promotion.

Some late night inspiration turned into an afternoon of hastily scribbled storyboards and 200+ pictures as I crafted my first ever stop-motion short. The excitement of flipping through the frames on the camera was palpable, as I realized "It's working!" While there are some things I would certainly change (mainly the complete lack of deep focus), overall I'm proud of my first try at stop-motion animation.
