Unfortunately the first agenda item was not recorded due to technical issues with the camera, but here is a summary of that agenda item as stated in the minutes:

"Development Authority – Bogart Representative: Chairman Davis reported the Mayor of Bogart or their designee has served as an Associate Member on the Oconee County Industrial Development Authority since 2000. Mayor Tom Peavey has requested that John Larkin be appointed to serve in his capacity as the Associate Member from the City of Bogart for the remainder of calendar year 2008 and a subsequent two-year term concluding December 31, 2010. By consensus, this item will be placed on the Consent Agenda for July 1, 2008."

Candidate forum held June 17, 2008 for the Chair and four Posts of the Oconee County Board of Commissioners. It was held at North Oconee High School and sponsored by the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce. Tim Bryant of WGAU moderated.
