Written and Directed by
Matthew Oquendo

Alfredo Garcia
Joseph Pimentel
This film is a Mock-u-mentary on teenage suicide.
I am an 18 year-old aspiring film writer/director. I've been making shorts for about a year now and have won a few awards with them. Martin Scorsese is probably my biggest influence as well as many other film directors. His work stands out to me personally and has touched me so profoundly that I was inspired to make films as well as study the world of cinema. I came to this site because of how great the resolution is compared to other video service sites and also because I enjoy the clean template service here! I wish to showcase all my work; any comments are welcome with open arms!

2007 Senior English Project - Beowulf
A Matthew Oquendo Picture
Starring
Brian Lugo
Chris Macias
and
Adrian Fernandez
SUMMARY:
A young man is shown allegedly murdered, another reciting revenge; all of these events relating to a metaphysical evil.
This was my Senior English project for the story "Beowulf" in which we make an artistic representation of the story. I decided to a make a short film and erase any names and storyline of Beowulf, but keep the core theme in "Beowulf" of Good vs. Evil. To those who have read the story, there are some subtle references to the story as an easter egg.
