I wrote, directed, shot, and edited (on a flatbed) this 16mm short film for my Cinematography 1 final. My first venture into directing children and shooting 16mm with only a scripty as crew. Original score composed by Cory Weaver. This short was shot on Kodak 7266 Black and White Reversal Film with a Bolex H16 Reflex camera.

At the end of one of our band practices, we decided to video one of our sillier songs. Normally we write our own stuff - mostly funk and rock, but this is a new genre we've invented - DEATH SWING! (a mixture of swing and death metal haha). You may notice the riff is stolen from 'Lose yourself' by Eminem! Anyway, here it is. We were just jamming it so it goes on for quite a while. Also it's a bit messy, but to be fair we had been playing for four hours before this, and we were all hungover from going out for Mo's birthday the night before. To make matters worse, my kick drum pedal broke at the very beginning of the song (the beater fell off) so I couldn't do the bass drum beat I planned - I had to keep it simple instead. Anyway, I'll stop making excuses and let you watch it! Drums = Me Guitar = Mo Bass = Nye
