has anyone tried 'filming' using the 7D mounted on an airplane. I see an increase in the apparent rolling shutter effect during maximum pan speed changes. Shooting at 250th of a second on my 7D seems to minimize the effect. is this your experience?

This sun is the way it was. By setting the lens to f/22, the blades of the aperture created that star-burst effect. Thanks for your comments.
