By an as yet unknown process, these pixels that you're observing will be interpreted in your brain as resembling letters, letters you're familiar with. Then, by what can neatly be described as magic, they will be linked together to form words. Those words, taking shape in your brain as floating clouds of firing synapses, will intertwine with one another to form meanings, and layer themselves atop each other, jostling for position in the cascade of contexts, associations and memories that are evoked by their joining. This scintillating process will happen millions of times in your life, and will happen involuntarily each time you scan pixels like these. The whole process, however, will take less time than you would need to blink.
