Sounds like the time I was in a commercial airplane from Ft. Myers to NYC in 2001 -- riding it out in the middle of a torrential downpour turned hurricane. I thought -- screw the oxygen masks. Where do they tank the parachutes?

Lucky for me and the other 100-something passengers aboard, we got to ride out a series of frightening half-minutes of our lives. I made some dynamo friends in the isle across from where I was sitting-strapped-bouncing-around in my seat/s that around that night.

Out of pure adrenaline, we invented a game while flopping around the sky called, "How many distractions can you make in less than a second?"

We still keep in touch today.
