Weezer came to Portland to perform a live show for the local radio station, 94.7, which they called a hootenanny. Lead singer Rivers Cuomo said that his mom had come up with the name. The station had put out a call for 200 musicians to jam with Weezer and all types of folks turned up. This video shows the rehearsals and warm up before they hit their stride.
