Sasquatch 09 and a real surprise for me, The Builders and The Butchers performing on the Yeti stage at Sasquatch 09 using an audience of thousands to hold a note while they start a song. There was amazing empathy between band and audience. This was my first time seeing this Portland band live and I have to say they were a highlight of the festival so far. [Murder City Devils are my choice for band of the Festival]

It is a story about a quest for the Holy Grail of childhood memories. When I was like 15 I saved all my money to buy this Wes Humpston Dogtown deck. Living in Chittenango NY we had very little access to anything related to skateboarding.

The sold out show featured all the classics, and the energy between the kids on stage and the 500 kids in the crowd was so awesome.
