Packed venue, fierce tunes! Thanks to the upbeat and diverse crowd, talented musicians, artists, cooks, designers, carpenters, confidence tricksters, doctors, nurses, clowns, terror suspects and other performers who made it such a phenomenal night.

The Synergy Centre near Oval tube station comprises some of those huge stark spaces that cries out for parties and events like this one. Guerilla Zoo have established a reputation as a genuinely creative and exciting collective who live for their art and this was a fun night to be a VJ.

I took my cue from Burroughs' cut-up technique to create more of a textured mash-up for the night. The city skylines flythrough is a nod to both the name of the event and the organisers, a breakneck rush through notional boundaries around arbitrary territories. I tried to give the sense of unexplored depths and dangerous transgression. Lewd dancing, warfare, sunbleached colour and weatherbeaten veneers, crusty beatboxes, digital soundwaves, lo-fi wifi, music for the deaf and signs for the blind. Misinterpreted memories, mumbled declarations, obscured lights and glittering shadows.

Not a music video, not a live capture, just a mix to showcase the style and scope of Fat Butcher's projected club and concert performance material in 2007.
