Chip has worked with media since he got his first tape recorder around age 10. He recorded TV theme music by attaching alligator clips to the speaker leads. Later in high school he shot Super8 mm film (silent), ran lights and sound in the local civic auditorium, developed slide shows and shot/developed black & white photos.

While in the U.S. Air Force, he wrote and recorded music using a 2-track ReVox tape recorder and added synthesized overdubs using state-of-the-art (for the time) ARP equipment. After service, he apprenticed in the radio unit of the U.S.D.A.

His interest in electronics led him to a career in computers, networking, BBS systems and eventually web sites and portals which he supports to this day. [7/3/08 update] He's finished editing a 3-camera shoot of an ice skating event, reading a book on Vegas 8 (Vegas Pro 98 Editing Workshop) and is still learning about Adobe Premiere Pro CS (from Master Collection!). He hopes to use the Adobe products in a future video ...
