Choreographic Capture

Choreographic Captures is an international short film competition. Artists from around the world participated in the first Choreographic Capture Competition in 2008 by creating short films related to dance. Five prizewinning films have been screened in cinemas throughout Germany since November 2008 in the midst of the series of advertising spots that precede a feature film. Intention is to heighten moviegoers' awareness for the aesthetic of the arts of dance and film. On choreographiccap... you can view all submitted short films, download several Choreographic Captures free of charge and get further information about the artists and the next competition.

We invite filmmakers, choreographers, dancers, artists from the genre of New Media and allied disciplines to participate! Deadline is the end of April of each year.

Short films submitted within the framework of the Choreographic Captures Competition will be viewed and judged by an independent international jury.
