I followed what I'd say are the standard steps for colour correction. First, 1) I waited till it was edited (some people try and jump ahead - colour correction is a treat because it looks so nice - have to wait till the edit's done). 2) properly white balanced each shot (or sets of shots) approx. 3) matched the contrast between the shots (primarily focused on the interviews) and 3) then matched the skin-tone between the two main interviewees (probably most important). Then, as a personal choice, 4) I went through and as secondaries, removed blue-casts that were left over from when I had to balance for tungsten and daylight was in the background. 5) Finally, I added an overall slight gamma-curve and tint, which really brought the whole look to life, but it was necessary to do steps 1-4 before the final step.
